We have caregivers available to serve lower Fairfield County, Connecticut, including Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Westport, and surrounding communities. Please contact us if you aren’t sure whether you are in our range.
No. We do not charge a fee for caregiver travel time.
Your care will not be left uncovered. If one of our caregivers is unable to work due to illness or an emergency, we will arrange to have one of our other qualified caregivers fill in as quickly as possible. We will stay in touch with you every step of the way.
Our caregivers may include Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Attendants (PCA), as required by the state of CT. All caregivers receive orientation and ongoing training to make sure they align Cura Home Care’s standards of care.
Any caregiver who drives a client:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Undergoes motor vehicle record (MVR) checks
- Is insured and approved by Cura before transporting clients
Safety is non-negotiable.
Yes. We will provide you with a service agreement that clearly outlines the services you are retaining, scheduling, and rates. There are no long-term commitments, and care can be adjusted as needs change.
Non-medical home care is typically private pay and not covered by Medicare. Some long-term care insurance policies may offer partial reimbursement. We’re happy to help you review your policy and explore options.
Absolutely. All caregivers undergo:
- Criminal background checks
- Reference verification
- Employment eligibility verification
Our caregivers are W-2 employees of Cura Home Care Services, not independent contractors. This allows us to provide oversight, training, and consistent quality of care.
While many of our clients are older adults, we also support individuals living with conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s, ALS, mobility challenges, and those recovering from illness or surgery.
Yes. Many of our caregivers receive specialized training in:
- Dementia and memory care

- End-of-life and comfort care
