Cura Home Care Services
Cura Home Care Services is a locally owned and operated non-medical home care provider located in Stamford, CT and serving lower Fairfield County. We take care of people who can’t take care of themselves, including the elderly and people with disabilities, injuries and special needs. We enable you to live and thrive independently in the comfort of your own home.
Our highly trained personnel includes Personal Care Attendants (PCA), Homemakers (HMK) and Companions (Comp) working in homes, hospitals, nursing facilities, and rehabilitation sites. We also provide transition care after hospitalization or rehabilitation.

Our Story
Cura Home Care Services was founded by Shivonne Mathison, MSW in 2017 with the aim of delivering compassionate and individualized care to each client. Through her work as a case manager with Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging (SWCAA) and caring for her grandmother, she developed a deep understanding and love for the elderly and special needs community.
Shivonne’s work ethic and innate passion for helping others drives her to deliver services that are thoughtful, professional, and educational. Shivonne believes in the importance of taking care of those who once took care of us.
