Cura Community Talk is Well-Received by Senior Residents at Hill House, Greenwich, CT

As part of our Community Talk series, Cura was thrilled to be invited to Hill House in the Riverside section of Greenwich, CT. Lisa Crowley, Residence Coordinator and Pat Speroni, Administrator do a wonderful job arranging for a variety of fun and mentally stimulating activities for the seniors who live there. These activities include discussion groups and trips on the Hill House bus to local stores and places of interest such as museums, movie theaters, and more. Classes offered to residents include massage therapy, healing touch therapy, exercise class, tai chi, chair yoga, art class, and computer Instruction..

In September of 2021, Shivonone Mathison presented facts and guidance to Hill House residents about how to achieve compassionate home care, as well as expert information about fall prevention and access to the different health insurance options. The talk was well-received and a flow of questions made the event engaging and interactive. “The landscape for Seniors is constantly changing, so a frequent review of senior resources, technology, opportunities and new challenges is critical for the best senior care,” says Shivonne Mathison.
